Where were you ten years ago? 
Nirvana's "Nevermind" was the hot album, SlickWilly was en route to the White House and Matt was "Today's Chicago Woman's" bachelor of the month for May!!! 

Also Matt's cable series "The Loser Club" welcomed a new comedy group called "The Upright Citizens Brigade" onto the show. Matt also performed at Milwaukee's "Summerfest" Comedy stage!

The comedy short produced by Matt & Mike Toomey...also make sure to check out Mike's new cd "TV & Other Stuff". It's a regular on Dr. Demento!!

 

That's right everybody's favorite nerd rock group is back and Matt is there to cover it.  

He hit the 1^st ever Weezerfest in Chicago at Grant Park, and met the wacky Weezer fans.  Lots of hijinks and plenty of Weezer videos, including the classics"Buddy Holly" and "Say It Ain't So" plus the new smash "Hash Pipe".  

Also watch for a celebrity appearance on this episode.

Matt and fellow comic Mike Toomey, were honored at "THE CHICAGO SHORT COMEDY VIDEO & FILM FESTIVAL" held at the Biograph Theatre.  

Their short film "The Bingo Fun Club", a spoof of 50's TV kids shows, was shown with an impressive group of talented filmmakers.  

Hosted by Adam McKay(head writer for Saturday Night Live)the festival also featured works by Andy Richter and Tim Kazurinsky.  "Bingo" also featured a cameo by Greg Glienna, writer and associate producer of the hit film "Meet the Parents" starring Ben Stiller and Robert DeNiro.  

In it's honor "Bingo" will run in it's entirety on the Matt Kissane show.

In coordination with Chicagolocalbands.com, Matt has had several up and coming musicians appear on his show.Some of them include Kat Parsons, Marina V. and Solar Tribe as well as Slitheryn.  Thus making a perfect time to compile a "Best of Chicago Music" episode.  Watch for this one!
